Manufacturers’ Guarantee

by Cynthia Jennings on May 10, 2023

“Manufactures’ guarantee” --- means if something went wrong with the item you bought there is a promise or assurance from the manufacturer or seller that the product will work as described. If it does not you can return it for repair or replacement at no cost to you. This assurance is offered because the manufacturer knows what to do if something goes wrong.

But how often do we call upon this guarantee?

When our lives are broken, when the plans fall apart and everything goes wrong, we need to wait on God to show up. God created us, He knows and loves us, and He knows what is best for us. Thus, He knows exactly what to do when things go wrong.

When life breaks us, we need to claim Gods’ manufacturers’ guarantee of restoration.

We were created as a living (Genesis 2:7) fleshed out depiction of God’s love (Psalm 139:13-16).

Think about it this----when a product is being manufactured there are step by step instructions and intricate details that must take place before the product is released for its specific purpose. When that same product is damaged by daily use the manufacturer goes back to the initial plan of design for optimal function.

God supervised our formation the same way. He had step by step instructions and intricate(Psalm 139:15 details that had to be in place prior to us being released(born) for our specific assignment and purpose. However, when life damages us, His initial formation and design of us did not change. He must often remind us of how wonderful we are in His plans for us to optimally function in our purpose.

So, we can rejoice knowing we have an iron clad manufacturers’ guarantee.

“Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture” (Psalm 100:3).

With an iron clad manufacturers’ guarantee there are usually some stipulations. The product must be used for the purposes for which it was designed.

Do you want to be able to reap the benefits of Gods’ manufacturers’ guarantee?

Then ask yourself, “am I operating in the purpose I was designed for?”

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me where I am. I thank You for your grace that sustains me as I navigate the trials of life. I accept Your love as the priceless gift it is. Father, I am asking for wisdom, courage, and knowledge to step out in faith and walk in the purpose You designed for me. In Jesus Name, Amen.
